The Cotton Alley is the seventh and final chapter in Super Meat Boy and a bonus chapter outside of the main game.

Despite its cute and bubbly aesthetic, The Cotton Alley contains some of the hardest levels in the game, specifically designed for experts. Mechanics and obstacles from every previous chapter appear and are used in new ways that greatly challenge the player.

Bandage Girl is the only playable character for this chapter, and instead of rescuing her at the end of each level, you rescue Meat Boy instead.

Overview

Super Meat Boy

The opening cutscene for The Cotton Alley sees Meat Boy and Bandage Girl enjoying a picnic, only for Dr. Fetus to appear and kidnap Meat Boy! Bandage Girl picks up her flower and gives chase.

The Cotton Alley only features twenty Light World levels and twenty Dark World levels. It does not contain any boss levels, Warp Zones, or bandages, nor does it have a Glitch Level.

Super Meat Boy: Rival Rush

The Cotton Alley appears in the artwork for the Fundamentals card. It appears to be based on 7-18 Oobs Revenge through the appearance of Oobs.

  • Level 20 might represent The End by only having saws as obstacles.
• In the game files, this chapter is referred to as a bonus world rather than a true Chapter 7.
