Spoops are enemies in the Super Meat Boy series. They are ghosts in straightjackets that hover around, typically in place.

Super Meat Boy Forever[]
Spoops first appear in They Never Left. They float in place until the player gets close, in which they will slowly follow them vertically. Once hit, a Spoop will move towards a preset location, also getting slightly freed from its strightjacket. If it again, it will go to a third location, and be completely freed from the straightjacket. A fourth hit will put the Spoop back to its first position, but will keep its appearance.
Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine[]
Spoops first appear in World 2-1, serving as the primary obstacle of The Hospital. They move around the grid diagonally, bouncing off of walls, clones, garbage blocks, and more. They can vary in size, and will turn transluscent and intangible when near the top of the grid (so as not to kill any clones where they spawn).

- Before the release of Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine, a large Spoop was going to be the boss for The Hospital. This was changed to C.H.A.D. late in development.
