Kontra is the fourth and final Warp Zone level of The Salt Factory in Super Meat Boy. It can be found in 3-8X Salt Crown. Like all Warp Zone levels, it contains three segments. It uses an 8-bit aesthetic.
This level features a building that, within its segments, is slowly destroyed by its missile launchers.
Strategy[]
This warp zone revolves all around rocket launchers, and more specifically, your ability to evade incoming rockets while trying to obtain keys.
In the final stage, the bandage is hidden behind two blocks above where you spawn. Once you get the keys, the blocks will disappear and they'll be available for pick-up.
Lastly, make sure that--regardless of what stage you're in-- that you are almost always moving so that you don't get blown up.
Trivia[]
- Artwork for this Warp Zone was made by Mark Essen (under the name "Messhof"), best known for creating Flywrench (whose player character is playable in Super Meat Boy).
