Glitch levels are hidden bonus levels in Super Meat Boy. They can be discovered and entered upon contact with a glitched out Bandage Girl.
Much like certain Warp Zones, glitch levels are retro-styled levels in which the player has three lives to complete a level. Unlike any Warp Zones, however, the level only contains one segment, typically longer than the average level.
Gameplay[]
Once a chapter is completed (by completing its boss level), playing any level in that chapter will have a small chance to become glitched, constantly flipping and distorting her sprite. If the player can reach Bandage Girl as she is glitched-out, the level will be completed like usual, but Meat Boy will also start glitching out and be transferred to the chapter's glitch level.
Once found, a glitch level will be permanently replayable on the level select, similar to Warp Zones. They will appear as a golden level to the left of the first level of the chapter's Light World.

Bugs[]
- If you get a game over, then mash A, and when you splat, you will enter the glitch level, but the map music will keep playing until the BSoD shows up.
- If you enter a glitch level via Glitch Girl on a stage with a warp zone, you will be put on that warp zone next time you are on the world map, without unlocking it.
Trivia[]
- All text when playing a glitch level is very scrambled.
