Big Slugger is a recurring boss in the Super Meat Boy series. A Dr. Fetus creation, it is an improved version of Lil' Slugger with double the chainsaws, a spiked steamroller, and increased mobility. Much like its predecesor, it is capable of mass deforestation.
Big Slugger is the first boss in both Super Meat Boy Forever and Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine.
In Game[]
Pre-Battle[]
Meat Boy and Bandage Girl reach a cliff after running through the Chipper Grove. Dr. Fetus follows them inside the Big Slugger with Nugget trapped inside, but because she is inside and the buttons are also inside, she presses the ejection button, Alerting Dr Fetus. He reacts quick however and presses the button again to abort the ejection, after yeeting Nugget to the wall that is. He then chases the pair up the cliff.
Battle[]
Throughout the fight, Big Slugger will try to squash you with its chainsaws. To stop the machine, you need to break the four red weak points all around the boss' body. Each weak point takes 5 attacks before breaking.
After the Battle[]
Once Meat Boy and Bandage Girl reach the top, the Big Slugger comes as well and tries to defeat them with one saw-swipe. Right at this moment, Nugget wakes up and imediatly jumps on the ejection button, Alarming the Dr once again, he tries to get her off the button, but when he finally catches her, it's to late, the cockpit capsule is ejected right to the Clinic, leaving the now unusable mech behind. The Pair rushes to the place while varrious injured animals gather arround the Slugger, a squrriel gets on top and, considering all the damage, decides that the animals should get revenge.
