Brownie is the boss level of The Salt Factory in Super Meat Boy. As with most boss levels, it requires completing 17 of the 20 Light World levels to unlock. It features Brownie as both he and Meat Boy attempt to escape the Salt Factory as a flood of salt rises.
Completing this level unlocks Hell.

The player is not required to beat Brownie to the end to win, but they are more likely to die in the rising salt if they take too long. There are certain points where Brownie will stop running where the player is still able to.
