4-Bit Meat Boy (4Bit Meat Boy in-game) is an unlockable character in Super Meat Boy. He is available in all versions of the game, and is the only playable character in certain Warp Zones.

4-Bit Meat Boy looks similar to Meat Boy, but with 4-bit graphics.
Origin[]
4-Bit Meat Boy and the Warp Zones he appears in are primarily inspired by graphics from the Atari 2600 released in 1977.
Gameplay[]
4-Bit Meat Boy controls exactly as his original counterpart does. The only differences are visual, from his appearance to his blood trail.
How to unlock[]
To unlock 4-Bit Meat Boy, the player must collect 60 bandages. This can be accomplished as early as Ch3: The Salt Factory.
Trivia[]
- 4-Bit Meat Boy, 8-Bit Meat Boy, and 4-Color Meat Boy are all unlockable skins of Meat Boy in Super Meat Boy.
- Ironically, Meat Boy does not have skin.
- 4-Bit Meat Boy has a slightly faster spawn time than regular Meat Boy.
